We are now accepting submissions for Intrigue's 2022 Hottest in Sex Toys Awards.
What is Intrigue’s Hottest in Sex Toys Awards?
Intrigue introduces its first-ever Hottest in Sex Toys Awards, which salutes the most innovative and leading-edge adult novelty items in the industry. To ensure our features are top-notch, we team up with engineers, product developers, and a series of sexperts to review the craftsmanship, functionality, and overall quality of each product. Additionally, each submission is personally vetted by our editorial staff to determine ease of use, longevity, and performance.
To support our multifaceted review process—and ultimately, introduce readers to the items worth the splurge—we require a $50 entry fee per product submission. To find out more, please read the complete Intrigue Hottest in Sex Toys Awards 2022 Submission Guidelines below.
How will the awards be advertised?
Winners will be featured in a digital "cover" article that will appear on Intrigue's Homepage and referenced in our "About" section until the following year's awards. They will also greet the inboxes of our 1k digital following, make appearances across our four social media platforms, and be included in advertisement materials for the following year's award announcements.
How to Submit Goods for Consideration
List the adult novelty products you'd like to submit for Hottest in Sex Toys (all products must have a 2022 launch date) with descriptions, images, prices, and hyperlinks to purchases (if applicable). Adult novelty accessories and limited-edition products will not be considered at this time. Please include all submissions in one email or document, organized by launch date (newest to oldest), and email them to JToscano@intriguemag.com. You can submit a product with a launch date anytime after the new year until October 14, 2022 (it must be available for purchase by early December when the awards are published).
Upon reviewing your submission, the Intrigue team will contact you to request samples for testing purposes. Products that do not meet submission criteria will not be eligible for testing. To learn more about the types of products we accept, please read “What We Look For in Our Submissions” below.
What We Look for in Our Submissions
Adult novelty items are extremely personal, so we aim to feature only those that are truly best for our readers, not just those we think they’ll enjoy most. To ensure quality, our first agenda always is to determine the safety of any item. All submissions must be manufactured from medical-grade silicone, stainless steel, or glass and marked by the manufacturer as “body-safe” to be eligible. Products made from porous materials like polyvinyl chloride (PVC), thermoplastic rubber (TPR), jelly rubber, and latex have been linked to reproductive, neurological, and developmental disruptions and can compromise the health and safety of both our editorial staff and readers and will not be accepted.
At Intrigue, we believe that diversity is sexy and continuously encourage products that represent all genders, ethnicities, communities, abilities, and kinks. We never believe kink-shaming is permissible and rely on our Hottest in Sex Toys Awards to diminish sexual taboo.
